As the UK gradually comes out of a National Lockdown, and under the advice of NHS England and our Governing Bodies, Carr Opticians continues to provide NHS and Private Eyecare Services with full Safety and Antivirus Protocols in place.

Our promise to you is to do everything necessary to keep you safe from this Virus. We are incredibly happy to announce that we have invested heavily in protective equipment to help keep you safe. Our Specialists will be suited in surgical masks, aprons, latex free surgical gloves, and Face/breath shields for your safety. Hygiene is key and we have invested in the most powerful coronavirus destroying alcohol gel to keep hands clean and safe. We also have the strongest antiviral Hospital grade surgical wipes to wipe all equipment and all touchable surfaces between each patient appointment. However, we also need your help. We would be very grateful if you use the Alcohol gel provided to sanitise your hands and to also wear a face mask please.

To provide an effective layer of safety everyone who has an appointment booked will receive a telephone call the day before to be asked questions to identify if they have any possible symptoms of COVID-19.

We politely ask that only the person who has the appointment is present in the same room where the sight test is being performed unless a carer is required to attend.
